Service limitations

None of the offered alternative/complementary/holistic treatments are meant to replace treatments offered by the regular medical system (NHS). If you have a medical problem, please speak to your GP or doctor before trying such treatments.
Alternative/complementary/holistic treatments are designed to help the healing process, both mentally and physically, by working together and alongside conventional, classic medicine.

You understand that the massage therapist does not diagnose illness, disease or any other medical disorder. The massage therapist does not prescribe medical treatment. You understand and accept that you hold all responsibility for the treatment you receive. At the same time the therapist will endeavour to the best of their ability to ensure that while you are being treated you will be safe, that the methods used will be suitable to your needs according to your age, gender and disclosed heath conditions and that all of your indications related to how you are feeling during treatment will be respected.

If you are unsure that it is safe for you to have a treatment, or if you have any medical concerns of any kind, please speak to your GP or specialist doctor.

If you have recently become ill, please contact your doctor or emergency services.
Contagious conditions
You endeavour to NOT book a treatment if you are suffering from a contagious condition (particularly respiratory or skin conditions). If you already have a booking, you will contact the therapist to cancel your treatment if on the day of the treatment you have a fever, nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea or any flu or Covid symptoms (new continuous cough, loss or change to your taste or smell).

Cancellations

You may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled treatment.

For cancellations within 24 hours of the treatment a 50% charge will apply, based on the cost of the booked treatment. The therapist may waive the cancellation fee at their discretion.

If the therapist cancels an appointment for any reasons, they will not be held liable for any losses incurred. If there has been a prepayment for an appointment cancelled by the therapist, the amount will either be returned, or you will be given the option to reschedule the appointment.

During your appointment, if the therapist decides that you are unwell or that the treatment is not suitable or if the therapist feels pressured in any way, or for any other reason, the therapist has the right to end the treatment at any time without incurring any liability.
The therapist may at their discretion decide to return your payment or to refuse to receive your payment for an appointment.

Being late or missing an appointment

If you are late for your appointment, please contact your therapist as soon as you know that you will not be able to be on time. Unfortunately, it is not possible to extend a session if you are late. You are still welcome to attend your session even if you are late. In this case the full price will still have to be paid.

If you do not show up for your session and you do not let your therapist know, you may only book another appointment if you pay in advance and you will no longer be eligible for any discounts. Cancellation fees may also apply at the discretion of your therapist.
Bookings in advance, prepayments, and gift vouchers

All bookings in advance, prepaid packs of sessions and gift vouchers are valid for a maximum period of 6 months from the time of purchase, unless otherwise specified. If unused during this time, all payments made will be forfeited and no claims can be made in relation to the loses.
