I am curious what happens during a session

Here is a short description of what to expect from your appointment.

I will meet you at your appointment time at the main door of the building then go to my office where we will have a quick chat about your reason for seeking treatment, be it pain, discomfort, to relax or anything else. We will then go over the consultation form to check if there are any medical considerations for the treatment.

I will explain your treatment in detail and answer any questions you may have.

If you are happy to go ahead, we can proceed with the treatment. If for any reason you decide not to go ahead there will be no charge.

Removing clothes is not necessary for craniosacral therapy and optional for therapeutic massage. If choosing to have a massage on the skin, for your privacy and comfort, I will explain how you should position yourself under the towels and I will wait outside of the room until you are on the table and covered before I return.

Treatments are normally not carried out on or near intimate areas. If you are experiencing, for example, gluteal pain then please specifically request massage in this area. In such a case the massage will be carried out through the towel or clothes.

During the treatment, please let me know if you have any questions or if you would like me to adjust the pressure or the room temperature.
